COLD LASER THERAPY

What Is Cold Laser?

Cold laser therapy is also called “low-level laser therapy” and has become a very popular treatment with athletes because it has been found to speed the healing process with injuries. At Harris Chiropractic, we utilize the FDA cleared device: MR4 by TerraQuant. This machine delivers a super pulsed laser that can vary the depth and is considered by some to be the world's most advanced pain relieving modality.

If you’re interested in getting the most cutting-edge health care today, it needs to include laser therapy. Low level Laser Therapy (LLLT)  (also called Photobiomodulation therapy (PBMt))  is at the forefront of a healthcare revolution that doesn’t include pharmaceuticals and surgery. We use cold lasers on our patients because they provide a significant change in body chemistry without potential side effects.

Laser Research

Laser Therapy has been used in medicine for almost 50 years. As of this printing, there are 5609 research articles on the site www.PubMed.gov  on low level laser therapy. It is used successfully in everything from reducing pain after hip surgery to shrinking tumors in dogs. Different lasers provide different results.
